Safeguarding
The safety, dignity and privacy of children come before anything else we do — including fundraising.
Our commitment
Nice to be Nice CIO is committed to protecting children and adults at risk from harm. This applies to everyone who represents us: trustees, volunteers, fundraisers and visitors.
- We never publish images, names or details that could identify a child without written, informed consent from a parent or guardian — and we avoid it even then where there is any risk.
- Anyone in a role involving contact with children follows our safeguarding procedures and any checks required for that role.
- Visits to the school are agreed in advance with school leadership; no one has unsupervised contact with children.
- Concerns are taken seriously, recorded, and acted on promptly.
