Security and safeguarding

Security and safeguarding

Practical improvements — fencing, gates and lighting — that help keep the school site safe.

Location:
Sanyang, The Gambia
Status:
Planned
The perimeter wall and gate area of a rural primary school compound.

A secure site protects children during the school day and protects equipment overnight. We fund practical measures agreed with the school.

Safeguarding is also about people and procedures. You can read our approach on the safeguarding page.

[Specific security works and costs to be confirmed by the charity team.]
